What condition is it in?

Be honest — we re-grade on arrival, and an accurate grade means we pay the quoted price with no surprises.

To qualify as Excellent, your handset must meet all of these:

  • Up to 3 very light scratches on the screen
  • Up to 5 light scratches on the housing and camera surround
  • No cracks, dents, scuffs, missing paint, pressure marks, screenburn or dead pixels
  • Handset powers on and is fully functional
  • Home button, Touch ID, Face ID and NFC all function correctly
  • No liquid damage
  • Battery health is a minimum of 80%
  • Where applicable, the stylus must be included
  • UK model with original software and hardware — not modified, jailbroken or rooted

Which network is it locked to?

An unlocked handset is worth more. Not sure? Pop another network's SIM in — if it gets signal, it's unlocked.
